As an adult player I absolutely love this book. A little bit of Jazz and Blues and some nice powerful sounding dramatic pieces, a couple really challenging for me and thats good as an early advanced intermediate player. Its quickly becoming my favorite book to play.

My 12 year old son, who plays jazz and ragtime absolutely loved "Jazz N Java". Because likes a certain genre of music the remaining 8 pieces were not of interest to him. He said and I quote,"They sound like something a GIRL would play." LOL! But as for "Jazz...

N Java," kudos Melody Bober! I'd love to see an entire late intermediate / early advanced jazz collection from her.
