Great Music
I recently bought this book and also Dan Coates Teachers Choice Level 5. They are both brilliant and suited to the intermediate to advanced player. Dan does not use difficult keys, or difficult rhythms and he does not use complicated timing. But he does mix up arpeggios with chords and base notes, and he has lots of runs and fills in the blank spaces. He uses easy techniques such as changing octaves, changing keys, putting in triplets, walking up and down in octaves in the base, and playing 4 in RH against 3 in LH to make songs interesting from start to finish. He also uses the whole keyboard, not just a few octaves around middle C. Most songs are about 4 - 5 pages and sound great. Buy these books!!

Beautiful Arrangements
I love the arrangements of Dan Coates and I am glad I added this book to my collection. The pieces required some work on my part but the results are worth the effort. If you like the smmooth melodic sound and perfect phrasing of Dan Coates, this book is for you.

This is not my first exposure to Dan Coates arrangements and have enjoyed them in single sheet music form. Very pleased.
