Don't let the unfortunate cover bother you, this is a true treasure chest of music. Be advised that some of it is transcribed from performances. The pieces range from groovy stuff an intermediate student could play, through difficult, to quite esoteric; namely the fantasy sonata. The "Glances" and "Points...

on Jazz" are excellent recital material. My favourite is "Doing the Charleston. My Grandmother would go wild! Overall, any serious pianist who professes an interest in jazz should own this book.
