Love this series of books. I use this for anyone upper elementary and older in my piano studio. I have looked at many different programs, and this one excels in all areas! Love it!

I have sung in chorus and in shows, taken voice lessons for several years, restarted piano two years ago (I should have practiced when I was a kid!), but have never studied theory. Now I'm trying to make up for the deficit. This course is making me prove to...

myself that I actually understand that which I am "sure" I know. It is easy to follow the examples but is making me think - a good thing. Some parts I have had to go back to the Internet or to my teacher to get a more detailed understanding. But the course is helping me identify the gaps in my knowledge and also the things that I really do know. Alhtough I think this is probably aimed at a younger audience I would recommend this to anyone wanting to start on music theory in a non-threatening way.

I thought this book was very cool. It is the perfect level. It is easy enough were it is not frusterating, but hard enough were you learn something. The only thing is that I have been taking piano for seven years and am still in book three although I move...

    up a level every year.
