Loved it
The title is a bit misleading. I was expecting a blend of contemporary and classical, but it’s all contemporary music. Still, it’s fun to play!

Oops!
First, I certainly do not believe this is a Beginner book. To be able to read the music, I am going to have to tear the whole book down into sheets. It will not stay open. I have tried various items to keep it open but it is so tight nothing works. I am educated in piano, but when I was a small child. I do know enough to realize this is not beginner.

Good but not great in terms of the title which is somewhat flattering.

Worlds Most Beautiful Music
This is perfect for teaching people who to put your own spin on a simple song. You can make your own arrangement with the basic music. Features songs from 50s-70s. Love it!

easy piano The worlds most beautiful music
This book is written in such a way that an advanced beginner such as me, can easily negotiate higher and lower notes while learning, because notes are limited to one or two , and if you like you, can add to easily, when your skills level increase. The books construction by Alfred is such that, pages when turned (after a little bending), stay OPEN, which like Hal Leonard books is critical to playing (I love it). Most books you cannot keep the pages open. They just want to auto flip. Not this one.

NOT Classical, not even classy.
I was led to believe this was a compilation of the most beautiful music arranged for easy-ish piano. I expected classical music arrangements that I could play for wedding receptions, as prelude music at church events, and as filler music at other events. It is not. These are the most sappy love songs. I grew uncomfortable just thumbing through the numbers. I could never play these at a serious event. Perhaps if my friends or clients preferred slightly sad love songs I could make this work. I can't believe I spent $20 on this. BTW, it took 2 months for Sheetmusic plus to get this order to me. If I had needed it for a gig, it would never have made it to me in time. Sheetmusic plus is losing my business.

Greatest piano book I ever bought!!
My children have been playing the piano now for a year. I have bought many piano books over the last year and the kids only pull this one out!! My son brought it over to his piano teachers house and she fell in love with it!! So we bought her one as a gift and was delighted!!! I would highly recommend this book! I LOVE listening to the book being played! It is truly a GREAT BLESSING!!
