I absolutely love this book! As an adult learner, I find the intermediate to advanced level challenging yet incredibly rewarding. This Hal Leonard volume offers a reliable set of jazz hymn arrangements that are perfect for church services or events. Since I love jazzy arrangements of hymns and gospel songs, I love this book! I also have the Gospel book, and love it, too! If you enjoy gospel music with a jazzy flavor, you'll probably love them, too!

Very jazzy, perhaps a little more than I wanted. Also, the music is smaller, and not as bold, as other books I have purchased, making it more difficult to see all the many incidental flats and sharps needed to make it sound jazzy.
