There are better arrangements available
Dan Coates' arrangements are fine for the intermediate player, but to call them advanced or professional is pushing it. Almost every arrangement has the same running bass line, as seen in the examples. No imagination. Occasionally, there is a worthwhile arrangement like some of his Gerswin tunes, but these are not for an advanced player, and certainly not for a professional. There are better choices.

The Professional Pianist---Solos for Christmas
Music didn't appear interesting. I expected better musical Christmas song/music which is appropriate for church. I'm an advanced classical church pipe organist and classical pianist.

Mostly good
Most of the arrangements sound good and are moderately easy to play for an experienced pianist. Some of the tunes, such as Hark the Herald Angels Sing, rely heavily on octaves for the melody, which I think is unnecessary and awkward to play. But overall, it's well done.

Wonderful, light music with rythm. Well known melodies. Grown up people love this music for Christmas.

Cheezy
With a title like 'The Professional Pianist - 50 ADVANCED Arrangements' I was expecting some arrangements you could actually use for a solo piano gig. Bland, square, simple and predictable. Would not recommend this.
