A lyrical melody with constant movement in the left hand. This should be played as smoothly as possible with plenty of pathos, changes in dynamics and push and pull with tempo to get the best out of it. The middle section should grow steadily from pianissimo to mezzo forte, particularly from bar 30 – 38. The section from bar 42 with the repeated B between the hands should be played cleanly in the style of Mozart. Pedalling through the piece should be straight forward, in line with the harmonic changes. This piece is dedicated to my beautiful wife Georgie.
