Love this book!
I love hymn, spirituals, and gospel arrangements and this book is one of my favorites! It has some jazzy, luscious chords and twangs, along with octaves, all so character pistil of gospel music.

Can't Put It Away
I love this book. Amazing rhythms. Great variety of jazz arrangements, some blues, some very spirited arrangements and some meditative pieces. If this doesn't satisfy the late intermediate to advanced player I don't know what will. Superb!

WHERE HAS THIS BEEN all of my life?
One piece is as good as the next. I'm not even a Christian and I Want to tell the Story. Wonderful blues, jazzy passages, just FUN MUSIC to play--and always a crowd pleaser.

Gospel Greats
I absolutely love this book. When it arrived I couldn't stop until I had played every song. I ususally put a check mark by the songs I like and want to use...I checked nearly everyone. I am thrilled.

worth every penney
Very unique and beautiful combination of gospel / jazz / blues. Some of the rythems are more advanced, otherwise not hard to play. Can't seem to put this book down and have been ignoring other pieces I need to work on. Included in the book is the most beautiful arrangement of Were You There I have ever found. Worth the price of the book by itself. Book has ring binding which is always a plus. Most pieces are short enouph to play in Church without editing.

Unexpectedly great!
Very rarely is there a book in which every song is worth playing on Sunday morning. This one fits that bill perfectly. Each song uses a wonderful gospel style.

Gospel Greats is GREAT!!
I would rather play Joel Raney than eat!This collection will not disappoint you. I have used pieces out of this book for the past three Sundays and the congregational response is incredible. His arrangements always inspire.
