Enjoyable Sacred Solos!
I absolutely love playing through this book! The arrangements of familiar hymns like 'I Can Only Imagine' and 'Blessed Assurance' are so rewarding. The difficulty level is just right for an adult learner like me – challenging enough to feel accomplished, but not overwhelming. It’s perfect for relaxing on a weekend and enjoying beautiful sacred music. Highly recommend for pure enjoyment!

who wrote these?
the music is ok, functional, not great; how sad that no composers are listed--performers and listeners alike like to know who wrote what they are playing and listening to!!; maybe these were all written by software programs? or by gifted children in a sweat shop in China? one wonders!

Beautiful Arrangements
Sunday Solos has been my go-to book for church specials for quite some time. Most of the arrangements can be picked up quickly by a late-intermediate/early advanced pianist. With good practice, an intermediate pianist will be able to learn them well. Not all of the songs are on the same level. they range from intermediate to late-intermediate and possibly early advanced on a couple of them. Overall, I highly recommend this piano book. It is full of tastefully styled arrangements that are enjoyable to play.

Sunday Solos
Has a great variety of traditional and contemporary Christian pieces--I use this book often for preludes, offertories, postludes, and Christian wedding services. I am now ordering one for a piano student!

Unusual
Sunday Solos and More Sunday Solos are both early intermediate to intermediate levels. Both of these books have some interesting arrangements while others are difficult to play and determine the familiar tune. There are several selections in both books that I would play in church but not all of them.
