Perfect for intermediate level but suitable also for advanced intermediate players (hence tempo indications are given as ranges on the metronome rather than one specific tempo).
The first piece - Sun, Sand, and Sea - can be a great, accessible introduction to Latin rhythms while supporting the player in releasing any potential fear of black keys.
The second piece - Caribbean Mood - introduces semiquavers, and with that more complex rhythmic patterns which contribute to a richer and more varied performance piece.
The last piece - Chill Chill Samba - is based on a common rhythmic pattern for samba and introduces some unexpected accents to create a playful and fun piece that not only inspires the student to keep practising and mastering more complex rhythms but also entertains any audience.
