FUNERAL MARCH "March Funèbre" from Sonata No. 2 by Frederic Chopin - PIANO SOLO. This is the 3rd movement from the Chopin Piano Sonata No. 2 in Bb Minor, Op. 35 first published in 1840. Many do not know this famous Funeral March melody is from a Chopin Piano Sonata. The piece has been used as a funeral and death theme since it was first composed and has been arranged and orchestrated for many types of ensembles and orchestras over the years. Here it is presented in it’s original Piano Solo version.
