I am currently transitioning from lesson books to real repertoire and this is a really good starting point!

  • January 14, 2017 Simple, but beautiful

You will recognize a few songs from your ur methods books, but there are many new ones, at least to me. Since I am not taking lessons, I appreciate the notes at the top of each page telling me what to pay attention to. Many are good for manual-only...

    organ work.

  • December 24, 2011 Nice collection of polyphonic exerices

Nice collection of Bach's short pieces. The book starts with his two famous minuets (in G major and G minor) and as one progress through it the level of difficulties gradually increases. The transcription is correct (although I have seen same pieces with more ornamentation). The notes are very...

readable. Fingerings are there. I recommend the book to anybody wanting to learn by playing catchy Baroque tunes. Enjoy.
