  • January 08, 2018 Easy piano solos

This book is exactly what it says it is: easy piano arrangements of 50 of the most popular Beatles songs. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it's still a great book. The right hand plays the melody and the left hand plays chords of 3 notes or...

less (sometimes single note bass line). Would be a fun teaching tool or source of solos for adults at the early intermediate level. Not as useful for someone who wants to play chords and sing along (me). But the chord letters are included if you wanted to expand on the very simple arrangement. All the lyrics are there, so it's a valuable resource for that as well. Easy keys, too, mostly C, F, or G; only saw one with three sharps, because the song changed keys a couple of times and there's only so much you can simplify that. Anyway, not a good book for singers, but a really good book for pianists who want fun easy piano arrangements.
