    Excellent - includes the original four Sonatas for Alto Recorder & bc, plus seven for traverso, some of which are readily playable on Tenor Recorder as written.

    Of all the publications of Handel's Flute Sonatas, this one is the best because it has been transcribed the way Handel wrote it. That leaves me the freedom to ornament the music the way I want to, if I want to. The music is quite beautiful without the embellishments...

    , too. I respect those who prefer dynamics, accents, turns and grace notes to be written in for them, in which case, I would suggest another publisher.
