  • August 15, 2008 Bach Chorales 1-91 in C-clefs

This is an excellent resource if you would like to master the art of reading C-clefs. The first section presents the chorales in open staff, C-clef with text in German. The latter section presents the same chorales in close staff with an English translation of the text. Preceeding...

both of these are scholarly notes on each of the chorales. I found it to be very useful.

  • November 16, 2007 Open Score for clef reading

This is a good book for practicing reading the various clefs, alto, tenor, bass and the g clef. It also is helpful for learning to read a score and realize a score on the piano or organ.

also important. As well as all this, it gives the committed person a deep understanding of Bach's chorale harmonisations, moreso than just reading them in treble&bass closed score because the level of concentration and assimilation is so much higher here.
