This book fills a gap in the learning of jazz & blues for piano. It assumes you want to know a little theory about the chord and scale construction and explains it very, very well. The exercises are perfectly coordinated with the instruction. But the bulk of the book is building...

towards the ability to improvise with both hands.

Bought it. Like it. Well done. Gives an overview of different styles that can be used on songs. It's a good summary. CD is helpful in getting rhythms down. Also good that they have slow and fast speeds for the arrangements at end.

The book has been used by my 12 years old child, and his piano teacher says it is very good and well made
