Composed by Jeffrey Ouper. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score. 7 pages. Jeffrey Ouper #2009207. Published by Jeffrey Ouper (A0.866185).

Yuppie Music for Toy Piano was written for a two-octave miniature upright piano. The four movements represent four different facets of the yuppie lifestyle as a response to the comment: Music majors are yuppies living off their parents’ dollar’. While the titles and instrument are seemingly shallow, my sarcasm runs deep. Looks can be deceiving. The piece is about 5 minutes in duration and is fun to perform. The final movement involves some cluster chords and free performance.
