This String Orchestra Arrangement contains two famous marches that were originally written for Piano; March, From The Notebook of Anna Magdalena Bach by J.S. Bach, and a Soldier's March Op.68, No.2, by Robert Schumann. They are very different, having been composed in two different historical periods, while the march, as a form, is eternal. This is a good example that teachers might use to explain “form” in music.
