Martha, oder Der Markt zu Richmond ( Martha, or The Market at Richmond) is a romantic comic opera in four acts by Friedrich von Flotow and based on a story by Jules-Henri Vernoy de Saint-Georges . The beautiful aria "Martha" is located in the third act. The melodic material is shared among all the voices in this arrangement.  All parts remain in first position and a Violin 3 part is included to bolster the viola section
