The first song, "The Chocolate Cake" is a song about buying a birthday cake for a child. The second, Illusions, is about the loss of a loved one. And the third, Days, is Ralph Waldo Emerson's poem put to song. The songs come in transpositions to match soprano, mezzo soprano, alto, tenor baritone or bass ranges. The many different transpositions and versions multiply the 15 pp into a much larger volume. Includes separate vocal parts and piano score.
