SKU: A0.1147435

Composed by Igor Korneitchouk. 21st Century,Chamber,Contemporary. 34 pages. Studio at the Post #747660. Published by Studio at the Post (A0.1147435).

Duration: 14 minutes, 24 pp. Description: The three brief unconnected pieces for the duo of violin and piano are, to paraphrase Shakespeare, "full of song and dance signifying nothing (tales told by an idiot)" - unconnected in most every way except in intent and genesis. They are a compilation of sketches pulled together at the same time (including harmonizations of barely disguised well-known TV tunes) for the fun of this occasion. The intent is celebratory and light, jovial. The piece is in three movements, roughly 4 minutes each: "Shanty Bagatelle" - "Cutting the Rug" - "Quodlibet Romp". Separate violin part included.
