When I was young and would visit my grand parent''s house there as a train track only a block away and every night around midnight the train would come through. There was something hypnotic about hearing the rumble of the train while lying to sleep at night. This has a bit of a bluesy feel and with the subtle underlying rumble of the train at times. I feel a lit bit of yearning and wanderlust in this piece. James Michael Stevens is a prolific composer residing in Nashville, TN where he serves as the Music Department Chairman of Welch College.
