By Nancy Litten. By Sergei Rachmaninoff. Arranged by Nancy Litten. 19th Century,Classical,Romantic Period. Score. 3 pages. Nancy Litten #881368. Published by Nancy Litten (A0.1290662).

Nancy Litten plays Rachmaninoff's most famous prelude. It was written in 1892 when he was only 19, and became such a success that he could never leave a concert platform without being expected to play it as an encore. It was dedicated to Rachmaninoff's harmony teacher at the Moscow Conservatoire, Arensky, and forms one of the set of five pieces entitled 'Morceaux de fantasie'.
Here it has been rearranged by a professional pianist so that all the notes can be played by those with smaller hands.
