Composed by Dean Bavister. Classical,Contemporary,Romantic Period. Score. 32 pages. Dean Bavister #2004497. Published by Dean Bavister (A0.986913).

Dean Bavister's first piano work (except songwriting) for thirteen years sees his first piano sonata (Oct-Nov. 2012, opus 12, 4 movements) which was almost immediately followed by another sonata for piano (Dec. 2012, opus 13 in D major, more classical in style and shorter with 3 movements). This sonata sees motives echoed throughout except the 2nd movement 'fughetta' which delves at some length into a theme of its own. After the expressive 3rd movement, the sonata is rounded off at a rapid pace which demands a high-class technique, the 'Vivace' 4th movement.
