I have taken Mozart's Rondo alla Turca (the final movement from Piano Sonata No. 11, K.331) and replaced the melody for the entire Rondo. If you look closely, the entire bass line is intact as well as most of the dynamics. If the music still sounds distinctly like the original (especially the coda section), well, that was intentional; I didn't want this first piece to be too different.
