4/4 time , sometimes 12/8, and duplets and triplet interspersed, with stem conflicts abounding.
Not so our GateWay Edition version, which has NO omissions from the original.
We have endeavored to make the syncopation MUCH more clear to see, read, and thus, to play.
Each beat has been turned into a 3/4 measure, and thus the melody emerges from the tangle of the traditional rhythmic notation. Double-stems OR accents show the tune.
