Composed by Elizabeth Borowsky. 20th Century,Classical,Contemporary. Score. 5 pages. Piano Prodigies #809999. Published by Piano Prodigies (A0.1212679).

My father once told me about a mountain that he climbed: at the bottom a sign stated, “When you get to the top you will be big and the world will be small.” But when he made it to the peak, there was a sign: “Look around you: you are small and the world is vast. And there are bigger mountains to climb!” There is a beauty to being on top of a mountain, yet being surrounded by so many more! In this work, the left hand mimics the shape of a mountain and the right hand portrays the beauty of the landscape.
