By Jeff Bjorck. By George Job Elvey. Arranged by Jeff Bjorck. 19th Century,Christian,Religious,Sacred,Traditional. Score. 7 pages. Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck #850977. Published by Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck (A0.1257747).Jeff Bjorck's original solo piano arrangement of this classic hymn melody by George J. Elvey is from Bjorck's album/CD "This I Know: Ageless Hymns of Faith." Many listeners will recognize this melody as "Crown Him With Many Crowns," but this hymn also uses this tune. The lyrics exhort the listener, "Give to the winds thy fears. Hope and be undismayed. God hears thy sighs and counts thy tears. God shall lift up thy head." It is often challenging to give our fears to the wind. Thus, in Bjorck's arrangement, a repeating bridge and the coda were created to remind the listener of the wind.
