Written for my grandson Griffin, whose middle name is Fox.
This is a delicate composition - in two parts. The first part is "cautious - as a fox on the edge of an open field"; the second section moves on to become more "jaunty - as a fox skithers rapidly across the open field". At the end of the piece "the fox goes to its lair", before "softly and slowing to stop as the fox settles to rest" .
