Pianist Kim O'Reilly Newman holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Illinois. She has performed throughout North America and Europe with the Hambro Quartet of Pianos and was an editor and recording pianist for Alfred Music. Kim is a brain tumor survivor and now specializes in performing music for the left hand.

Amazing value, beautiful pieces
They say you can only ever have 2 out these three - fast, cheap, quality. Not with this book. You can have it on your doorstep in 3 days, it's remarkably cheap when compared to other books containing similar pieces, and the spiral binding helps it not fall apart like the older copies of the book did. Yes, I am on my second copy of this book. It's a favourite.

Essential Keyboard Repertoire, Vol.1/CD.
This is the Classical Music piano book that I've been looking for years to get, and it has a performance CD with it, the very best of the best classical pieces, they're all so unique, new and unusual, not like any other standard classical piano book, this is the GREATEST BOOK! All pieces truly are duable & playable for an older early intermediate pianist as me, makes me so happy to finally have found the very best here! And, the book has very dark readable printed notes, plus a very nice spiral cover, for very easy turning of the pages, and it stays open be itself really easy! Thank you SMP!
