Note from the Arranger

Revisiting Christmas carols that I have known since I was an infant has been so exciting for me! I love a variety of styles, which is reflected in my arrangements.

There are the more traditional sounds such as in Joy to the World, Silent Night, and O Come, All Ye Faithful. Then there’s a hint of jazz in Away in a Manger and The First Noel—or more full-blown jazz in Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.

It has been a creative journey of word-painting, as O Come, O Come, Emmanuel paints a haunting picture of longing or Sing we Now of Christmas rings in exuberance of spreading the joy.

May these arrangements transport you to Bethlehem, where the hope of the world was born.
