Bach Around the Christmas Tree
the pieces are extremely short, making them hard to use for a prelude. They are nicely arranged and interesting--just need to be longer.

I had fun with this book. I love the combination of a classical piece with a carol and they are well written in the various styles. They also do not need a great deal of practice.

Bach Around the Christmas Tree
These pieces are really enjoyable. They are sensitive and skillful arrangements. I particularly like Good King Wenceslas in the style of Pachelbel.

Very Clever Arrangements
I am a player in my 60s who plays mainly for church related functions. I am very pleased with these arrangements and use them often. Some of the arrangements did require a little more practice but should be playable by an intermediate level pianist. The Joplin style arrangement of Jingle Bells is one of the best I have ever seen. I plan to buy the second volume as well.

I love it so much I ordered the next volume
This book is a lot of fun if you know your composers as the arranger really did capture the style of each composer within the Christmas carol. Some pieces are more difficult than others but I would call all of it Intermediate.
