By Metallica. By Ennio Morricone. Arranged by Alex Lewis. 20th Century,Classical,Contemporary,Film/TV. Score. 7 pages. Houston-Piano Studio #805913. Published by Houston-Piano Studio (A0.1207795).

The Ecstasy of Gold was composed by Ennio Morricone. This is an arrangement by Alex Lewis. The music starts off with the original theme of the piece. Then it gradually transitions from that to original chords and melodies. The next part serves as an oasis before the final part of this arrangement. The tempo is slower and music is more melodic. Finally, the last part is a flurry of notes bringing in the original theme one more time in the form of sixteenth notes, followed by a coda in F. This is very much a journey from beginning to end. If you decide to purchase this sheet music, Mr. Lewis hope that you'll have as much fun learning and playing this as he had.
