  • December 13, 2014 Dissapointed in play along tracks!

I currently play at an intermediate/adv. level. I am looking for play along sections where I do not have to have an accompanist to be able to play at different events. I will forewarn you that this book does not come with a CD. You must have access to...

the internet along with plug ins that allow you to play/download your songs. I am hoping it will allow me to burn a CD for the purpose as aforementioned. The other issue that I have with these songs is that the demonstration tracks play what sounds like an electronic marimba instead of a flute. And possibly the biggest issue for me is that the backing track sounds very synthetic...nothing live or real sounding in the arrangements. At times it is annoying and very disappointing. If you can get past this, the pros are that the songs are energetic, and you will recognize them from the movies. I simply could not give this any more than a 3.
