Written Nov. 9, 2019, this is an original piano composition in the key of D minor. Begins simply with a minimalist feel, gradually crescendos with some powerful low chords below the building broken chords in the right hand to a climax, and then falls off in the distance. It is written at an intermediate level sounds more difficult than it is as it builds. Would be a nice recital number. James Michael Stevens is a prolific composer residing in Nashville, TN and serves as the Music Department Chairman of Welch College.
