The beautiful melody with delicate accompaniment is both very expressive and in the style of folk song. While the melody is in the first violin, all four parts require a high level of musicality and strong ensemble playing. [I apologize that the sound file is just the computer playing, and not very well. I hope to put up a sample of a real quartet soon.]
