I would advise stongly instruction from a teacher who KNOWS how to use these. Dim 7th chords present a wide stretch and you must tailor each excercise for the student. I'd say these are advanced. Mis using them can cause injury! Series 2 in Book 1 is especially dangerous...

if used improperly. Any one who attempts these should already have good hand flexibility and patience to work very very slowly. Do only one per week or so. At any sign of fatigue STOP. Gradually build up the ability to do all the chords chromatically. Be kind to your hands and listen to your body. Only continue these IF your hands seem fitted for them..some hands may not be and I adivse those students to have other excercises assigned. ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL.

If you want to improve your playing, you should buy both books. Played properly with good posture, loose wrists etc all pianists will see a great improvment in their playing.

It's hard, really hard for fingers and their muscles. But terribly efficient !
