Fanny Crosby's words of the refrain come to life with the reimagined music "Draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord, To the cross where Thou hast died." The piece ends with a plaintive musical request of "draw me nearer". This piece would be appropriate for worship services, recitals, or personal devotional time at the piano. Duration: 3:10.
