  • April 02, 2009 Great Work Book

There's something about applying music theory on paper. It's great to first show students what you're talking about on the piano. But then to apply it on paper just somehow sinks in and stays with them for a long time... this theory book is great!

  • May 26, 2008 Piano Teacher loves this book

I've been a piano teacher for years and really love the Alfred method. This theory book, paired with the lesson book are superb! It tries to make a dry subject (theory) fun and it succeeds. Student don't seem to mind doing their theory and it is matches the...

lessons perfectly. One book supports the other, as it should. The lessons follow logically and are never too difficult too fast.
