One to make the audience weep.
This is one of those pieces that is simple, but absolutely sumptous in tone when vibrato and expressive fingerings are written in. Making use of shifts in the piece will bring out it's ethereal melody even more. The melody is perfectly suited for the violin, and it is evident that Nigel hess understood the instrument when writing this piece. One for the violinists who like the theme of Schindler's List and Massenet's Meditation.

Ladies in Lavender for violin and piano
I first heard this peace on Joshua Bell's CD and immediately wanted to play it myself. Not as easy as it sounds, but ever so beautiful. It gives me inspiration to constantly better myself in vibrato technique. I gave my first performance to my grandparents for their 50th wedding anniversary in Slovenia. Everyone that hears the piece simply loves it!
