Ashokan Farewell
I bought this sheet music 15 years ago or so for my daughter when she was young. I recently needed a copy for myself and the download was convenient. This piece is a passionate classic--My daughter and my nephew (now both violin music major college graduates), performed their own beautiful twin fiddle rendition of Ashokan Farewell for my mother's and my father's graveside services, and my daughter played it also for my step-mother's service as well. This is truly one of the most beautiful pieces ever written! Thank you, Jay Ungar!

Great piece to own!
I just love this piece of music. Our family has some members who are in the twilight of their lives, and I know my children will be asked to play for some of them. Ashokan Farewell is a perfect piece to play for a memorial service. It is not difficult, but hauntingly beautiful.
