Handy to Have
This duet book is handy to own. The duets are not difficult, but interesting enough arrangements that they are enjoyable to listen to or sing. Some can even be used for a choir.

Carols for Two - Any Voice Combination
Loved book. Since just two of us singing duet, Angel Carol, recorded accompaniment onto disc. Result was beautiful, congregation loved it. Love the medley combinations and arrangements. Choir director how wants to use for full choir. Highly recommend for good results with medium skilled voices.

Carols for Two
I have just started teaching O Holy Night/Silent Night to a group of 25 men. They love doing it as it is something different. We hope to get to another one or two for next year. I would hope to teach this piece to my mixed choir next year.

Good! Nice!
We bought one book first, and now the entire (small) choir has reviewed it to see what we all think. The duets are not too terribly hard, but not so easy that you are bored/feel insulted. Piano part is pretty, supportive without being too simplistic. We are now ordering for everyone, using it this Advent and Christmas season.

buy this only if you like quodlibets
There are only three duets in this book that I would recommend for my students or choir members. Most of the duets are two songs sung together, quodlibets. Since I find quodlibets to be unacceptable, I was quite disappointed that there isn't much in the books that we will use.

So disappointing
I accompany two college freshmen who are looking for a Christmas duet and purchased this. I saw difficulty levels listed as what I thought was Intermediate. However, all start in unison, harmonies are embarrassingly simple, and the only thing a few of the arrangements have going for them is the accompaniment. This is the first time I've wanted to return a book to sheetmusicplus.

Quite nice
This didn't arrive to us in time to use for this Advent and Christmas season, but I am excited about what it offers for us for 2012. There is one piece that has two pianos and two parts. This is perfect for our choir that never knows how many people will be at any given rehearsal, and without a few key people, a three or four part song becomes impossible. Two parts are always possible! We also have talented keyboard players, so I'm always happy to find music that makes the piece with the accompaniment as well.

Good book to have
This book has been handy to have. It takes just 2 ambitious voices and it doesn't take much to come up with a beautiful duet. Yes, they do sing together some of the time, but there is also easy harminizations thrown in there too. The accompaniment is relatively easy to handle with not alot of practicing. Good book!

Carols for Two
Very useful arrangements. We have rehearsed two of the carols already and plan to sing one (vocal duet with piano and flute) as an advent offertory. The arrangements have interesting harmonies and are within the functional range of many singers.

A Nice Change
The duets in this book are thoughtfully prepared for singers of just about any level. I was surprised to find lovely, somewhat contrapuntal arrangements. This is not your run-of-the-mill carol book. I look forward to exploring these duets with my students and colleagues.
