Really nice pieces - should be essential solo cello repertoire, but for some reason are relatively unknown.Difficult: comparable with Bach suite 1.Printing is clear, although paper is a little thin.Well worth getting.

My one disappointment was that though labeled "Manuscript", this edition does NOT included a reproduction of the original manuscript or contemporary print. It is a very readable literal modern engraving edition of the 12 Capricci, with the final unfinished caprice completed by the editor. Now, these are absolutely delightful pieces...

by a little-known cello virtuoso of the later 18th century, tuneful and varying in complexity. Any cellist who enjoys the earlier repertoire will appreciate these works. 20 pages, about 9x12" with a card cover.
