Supriano 12 Taccata for 'cello Solo #SU 1 TO

Believed to be one of the three first sets of pieces printed for 'cello solo (Antonii & D. Gabrielli are the others). Excellant edition - modern notation, bass & tenor clef up to A above middle C. Easy to read: notes and staves well spaced, on heavy buff paper. These sound very Baroque, much like Vivaldi's sonatas. There is less implied counterpoint than the other two composers' pieces, but they are wonderfull pieces of music! Musedita has volumns of early Italian 'cello music in manuscript listed online, but what I found, was that they are a photocopy of the original with unrealized figured bass. This, though ,is an excellant, playing copy.
