The pupils feel they are making 'real music' when playing with the accompaniment. The accompaniment is such a vital part of the style of learning in the 8 volumes of Collections available separately each for Violin, Viola, Cello and some for Double Bass. In the Zoo and Quaviary Collections the music is based on animal themes depicting the characteristics of the animals. There are words to go with a couple of the Quaviary Collection pieces which helps students feel the idea of playing quavers. For further details, describing the learning stages for the students in each Collection, please refer to the description for each of the pupils' books found on this site. The Glossary in Volume 9 provides an overview of the 8 other collections. There is a summary of the learning points in the pupils' books at the beginning of each Collection. This is especially useful for teachers involved in recording lesson plans and in planning curriculum development. Each Collection is available separately and will soon be published in PDF in two parts or all together in a whole volume. The pupils' book has a total of 66 pages for all 9 Collections. A midi, sound version of the accompaniments is not yet available but is under consideration (November 2022).
