Volume 9 in Collections for Violin this is a supplement of four major scales D, A, C and G. Each is presented with a diagram showing the positions of the fingers on which string. This volume also contains an indexed glossary of all the terms and symbols used in the other 8 volumes of Collections for Violin. All the Collections can be played with viola players and cellists and some with Double Bass players. This makes for sociable learning. The download format is easy to read with larger print than many other books for beginners. The volumes can also be bought together as a whole (66 pages) or in two parts. In the beginning, the violin books concentrate more on the lower strings to enable compatibility across the instruments and it can sound less shrill to the worried parent! The accompaniment for the teacher to play, and or the musical parent, is provided for Violin, and the other string instruments as well as keyboard, or both together, ideal for ensembles at school or elsewhere!
