This general, double-texted hymn setting on the well-known hymn tune Lasst uns erfreuen includes an instrumental introduction, a modulation after stanza 3, and a soprano descant on stanza 4. Stanza 3, for unaccompanied choir alone, uses the original form of the hymn, as it appears in German hymnals to this day. Reproducible page for congregation in choral score. Based on the tune Lasst uns erfreuen. Organist may play from either Full Score or Choir Score.
