This work attempts to capture the joie de vivre of the fin du siecle French sensibility. Written for the 100th anniversary of the Chaminade Club of Jackson,Mississippi, the opening theme is based upon the letters of the honoree's name. This work would be an excellent recital piece and program ender. It takes an accomplished pianist to pull it off. Duration is ca. 5'30" to 6'00". Fun for the audience.
