Set in A minor, with some repetition of themes and very 'hand-friendly' chords, this is as accessible as it is motivating for intermediate students. Teen and adult students especially seem to enjoy this one. If your student has played either or both of my other arrangements for this piece (there is one for beginner and one for late elementary level), they will recognize the eighth note run, as it is identical in each arrangement. I find this helps the student feel competent and confident, to find a nugget in the new piece that they already know well. This piece is great for a holiday-season recital, or even for a short piece for a church service.
